【人才管理】HR如何做好D&I?顧問分享個案︰從3方面著手

多元化和包容性(Diversity and Inclusion,簡稱D & I)對企業來說非常重要。作為多樣化的公司,需要相互尊重並支援客戶的不同需求,以便公司建立可持續業務。這也歸結為「信任」,彼此信任專業,並加深與客戶和同事的關係。

為了將「多元化和包容性」概念融入公司文化,管理層及HR需要發揮重要作用,應該繼續認真聽取員工、客戶和主要持份者的意見,以確保尊重和充分考慮他們在不同情況下的需求。

多元化應該成為公司部分的DNA,例如自1865年以來,匯豐(HSBC)的業務就建立其文化上,並在許多不同國家和地區和全球移動管理文化建立深厚根基,成為僱主品牌的核心。

CSC(Cancer Support Circle)是由各個部門員工代表組成,旨在為員工及其家人提供癌症相關問題的資訊、建議和支援。該網絡希望通過教育癌症患者及其家人有關癌症的預防和相關治療方法,建立朋友圈來支援癌症患者,從而提高同事和公眾對癌症患者及其家人需求的認識,該網絡也開放給中國所有員工。這樣一來,也幫助提高員工對企業的歸屬感及敬業度。

Why is Diversity & Inclusion important to an organization ?
D&I is critically important. As a very diverse organization, we need to respect each other and support customers’ different needs so that organization can build a sustainable business. It also comes down to trust – trusting each other to be professional and deepening staff relationship with customers and amongst colleagues.

To embed D&I in the organization’s culture, leaders have a big role to play, we should continue to listen closely to staff, customers and key stakeholders to ensure that their needs in different circumstances are respected and well considered.

Diversity should be a part of your organization’s DNA

For example, since 1865 HSBC’s business has been built on the heritage, deep roots in many different countries and regions, globally mobile management culture and is central to the brand.

WHAT IS Employee Resources Network Group ?

ERNG is a group of employee who share the same mission to meet on a regular basis, with the aim of enhancing our diversity and inclusion, work life balance and offering a forum for the exchange of ideas, sharing of experience, and the personal development of their members. CSC is formed with members from various departments with its aims to provide information, advice and support to employees and their families on cancer-related issues.

The network hopes to enhance staff and public awareness of the needs of cancer patients and their families by educating them on cancer prevention and related treaments, as well as to establish a circle of friends in support of those suffering from cancer. The network is open to all employees in China.

Provide help to their fellow patient colleagues and their families

Contribute to the community at large

Management

Contribute to the Group’s Corporate Sustainability initiative on diversity and inclusion

Encourage staff participation and promote greater involvement within and outside the Group
