【引入海外專才】政府3年1萬個崗位 引入8工種專才 強調「本地勞動人口優先」

香港勞工及福利局副局長何啟明近日宣布，政府計劃在未來三年內引入一萬個崗位，專注於八個特定工種的專才，並強調本地勞動人口將優先獲得就業機會。這項計劃旨在應對香港日益嚴重的人口老齡化問題，並緩解某些工種的人手短缺情況。

何啟明指出，包括電工、升降機技工、海員、飛機維修以及新型工業，如人工智能和機械工程技術員，申請年齡門檻定在40歲以下，以吸引年輕且具潛力的專才來港工作。何啟明表示，這一措施是為了應對香港面臨的生育率偏低及人口老化的現實挑戰。
「整體人口老化是我們一定見到的現實，如單靠香港自己去生育，未來一定會這樣做，但短期內或十幾年之內趕不切生育，要長大。」
此外，何啟明對於近期有連鎖食店結業的情況表示，部分飲食業者可能未能適應市場的變化，呼籲業主應調整經營策略以迎合新的市場需求。
