【高才通續簽潮】勞福局局長孫玉菡︰至今9萬宗申請獲批 預計今年中將有1萬名續簽

自2022年底推出的高端人才通行證計劃（簡稱「高才通」）至今已獲批約9萬宗申請，並預計今年中將有約1萬名高才簽證到期需要續簽。勞工及福利局局長孫玉菡透露，這項計劃吸引了約8萬名高端人才抵港，而隨著高才通計劃的推進，續簽的需求也逐漸顯現。
孫玉菡指出，目前續簽的申請剛剛起步，今年首月的續簽數量僅有300多張，數量相對較少，但對於未來的續簽情況持樂觀態度。預計到第二季尾，將會有7000多張簽證到期，累計至中期將達到約1萬張，屆時將進一步分析這些人才的行業分佈及其對香港的貢獻。
此外，孫玉菡提到，補充勞工優化計劃自2023年9月起進行優化，至今已批出約5.1萬個名額，主要針對飲食業崗位，包括廚師、侍應和洗碗工等職位。
