DESCRIPTION

INTRODUCTION
In today’s diverse and dynamic workplace, leaders are tasked with guiding teams that span multiple generations, each with unique values, communication styles, and expectations. This course, “Leading Across Different Generations,” is designed to equip people managers with the skills and insights needed to effectively lead and inspire a multigenerational workforce.

Throughout this course, we will explore the characteristics and motivations of different generational cohorts, including Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials/Generation Y, and Generation Z. By understanding the distinct perspectives and strengths that each generation brings to the table you will learn how to foster collaboration, enhance productivity, and create an inclusive work environment.

o Strengths and blind spots of different generations

Apply the communication and motivation skills in a multi-generational workforce
o How do different generations like to communicate with others?
o How would different generations like others to communicate with them?
o What do different generations look for at work?
o What motivates different generations at work?

Achieve teamwork and collaboration of different generations
o Different generations’ expectations toward their boss
o Different generations’ expectations toward staff and subordinate
o How do different generation see teamwork and collaboration
o How to apply the communication and motivation skills in multi-generational workforce
o Measures to encourage teamwork and collaboration among different generations

Resolve conflicts and disagreements among different generations more effectively
o Issues which trigger conflicts between different generations
o Possible options in conflict management
o Steps to resolve the conflict or disagreement effectively
