The Master of Human Resources Management (MHRM) programme is tailored for individuals seeking a professional career in human resources management. Additionally, it provides valuable insights for practicing human resources professionals who lack formal training or education in the field. The programme also benefits line managers aiming to enhance their understanding of HR management principles and practices.

Upon Completion of the Programme, Graduates Will Possess:
HR management competencies
Graduates will possess the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to effectively execute operational HR functions, translating policies and procedures into positive HR management outcomes.

Evaluation and advisory competencies
Graduates will demonstrate the ability to evaluate and develop HR management programmes and processes based on principles of employee motivation and engagement. They will also be aware of the significance of organisational and cultural contexts, as well as ethical principles.

Personal and professional development
Graduates will exhibit effective communication, analytical thinking, and critical thinking skills.

Globally recognised qualifications
The programme aligns with the core knowledge and core behavioral standards of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development's (CIPD) Profession Map. Successful completion of the MHRM programme grants active CIPD student members with CIPD Associate membership, validating graduates' strategic thinking and HR management skills.

Aims
Upon completion of the programme, graduates will possess:

  • People-management competencies: Graduates of the programme will have the necessary HR knowledge, skills and competencies to successfully carry out operational HR functions that translate HR policies and procedures into positive HR outcomes.
  • Evaluation and advisory competencies: Graduates of the programme will have the ability to evaluate and develop people-management programmes and processes, based on a sound knowledge of the principles of employee motivation and engagement, and an awareness of the importance of the organisational and cultural context and of ethical principles.
  • Personal and professional development: Graduates of the programme will be effective communicators, analytical and critical thinkers, who will appreciate the importance of life-long learning and continuing professional development
