為穩定經濟及勞工市場，支援因疫情受影響的行業，特區政府於今年2月及4月，先後推出兩輪合共1,675億港元的「防疫抗疫基金」救市。當中「保就業」工資補貼將分兩期向僱主發放，第一期補貼涵蓋2020年6月至8月。第二期補貼涵蓋2020年9月至11月。
