As the leading HR professional body in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management (HKIHRM) is dedicated to promote good people management practices. The HKIHRM Annual Conference & Exhibition is one of the most important people management events in Asia. In 2018, this two-day event attracted over 1,200 participants from Hong Kong and overseas. There were more than 40 renowned speakers in different sessions including plenary and concurrent sessions as well as symposiums. Concurrently a free exhibition was held with reputable service providers demonstrating their latest services and products.
This year, the Conference is entitled “HR at the Crossroads: Disruptive Innovation．Workforce Dynamics”.
Robots and automation are poised to replace millions of jobs, but may at the same time create many new ones that are non-existent today. As we see YouTuber and e-sports gamer emerge as popular careers, numerous startups are finding niches and seizing opportunities in the market.
