DESCRIPTION

Today’s companies are suffering from the destructive innovation in Digital/Network Economy.
However, the managers making the decision are often risk averse and isolated from a personal
knowledge of the problems to be solved. They tend to be keeping stable within a bureaucratic system.
What’s wrong with them? They are insensitive to the business opportunity and threat!
In 1992, The American Heritage Dictionary acknowledged formally the popular use of a new word,
Intrapreneur, to mean "A person within a large corporation who takes direct responsibility for turning
an idea into a profitable finished product/service through assertive risk-taking and innovation”. Now
“Intrapreneurial Leadership” is known as the practice of an essential management style in
Digital/Network Economy that integrates risk-taking and innovation approaches, as well as the
farseeing capability, that are more traditionally thought of as being the province of entrepreneurship.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the concept and skills of of “Intrapreneurial Leadership”
2. Inspire the learning power of the entrepreneurial behaviour
3. Practice the “Intrapreneurial Leadership” skills at workplace and team management

This programme is suitable for the division heads, sales professional or managers.

What’s Different Approach in this Workshop?

Work Based Learning Approach in Workshop

Only learning can keep up with the change. Why the people
can’t learn from their past experience? Because they are falling
unconsciously into “comfort zone” and their behaviours are
tending to “Aging”. Work Based Learning Approach is
developed by Middlesex University (UK) to inspire the adult
learners to excel their learning experience at workplace and
team management. This is a powerful learning approach to
unleash your learning behaviour (Feeling, Watching, Thinking
and Doing), where the participants are asked to engage
themselves in a new experience (Feeling), actively reflect on
that experience (Watching), conceptualize that experience and
integrate it with past experience (Thinking). Through the
interactive approach, group sharing, role discussion and short
video demonstration, you will be able to make action based on
your created concepts (Doing).
