Be a Strategic HR in Talent Management – Establishing Business-Centric Competency Profiles
DESCRIPTION

Global Leadership Forecast 2018 reveals that the top challenges that are vying for leaders’ action focused on their own leaders. Developing “Next Gen” leaders and failure to attract/retain top talent were rated in the top five by 64 percent and 60 percent of respondents, respectively.HR professionals often face the challenge of how to sell the idea of competency profiling to senior management, so that there is clear and consistent people standard for recruitment, promotion, talent review, hi-po programmes and talent development. Once management support for competency profiling is obtained, it is the responsibility of HR to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the competency profiles being introduced to their organisation, putting them to use to achieve the intended business impact. It is essential HR knows how to evaluate the quality of competency profiles. In this workshop, we will give you a comprehensive understanding to competency profile development and implementation.
