Executive Diploma in Training Management and Talent Development

Highlights
The programme aims to equip students with essential knowledge to perform training and talent development functions in both local and global sectors. It also prepares students for the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) Certification Examination of the Association of Talent Development (ATD). 

Programme Details
On completion of the programme, students should be able to:

1. identity human performance gap and apply the knowledge of core instructional design, training delivery and training programme management to close the gap;
2. apply advanced talent development knowledge (including performance improvement, change management, integrated talent management, coaching and knowledge management) at the workplace;
3. apply the principles and practices of talent development globally, across cultures and borders; and
4. apply appropriate skills and strategies for taking CPLP examination.

This programme consists of 2 modules.  Each module consists of 10 lectures and 3 tutorial sessions

- CPLP credential holder, ATD Master Performance Consultant, President of Asia Pacific Professional Managers Association, President of ATD Hong Kong (2009-2013)

- >20 years of human resources management and consulting experience

Applicants shall hold:

1. a bachelor’s degree awarded by a recognized university or equivalent; or
2. an Associate Degree/ a Higher Diploma or equivalent, and have at least 2 years of work experience; or
3. professional qualifications in talent development.

Applicants with other qualifications and substantial senior level work experience will be considered on individual merit.
