INTRODUCTION
According to Harvard Business Review (Nov 2016), managing people is a time-consuming task. The top time wasted management items include bad hires, negotiations, unproductive meetings, uninspiring leaders and routine solutions, etc. Each generation has unique strengths, but their strengths may also be perceived as weaknesses by the other age groups. How can one keep different generations of employees working harmoniously as a team? OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this course, participants and executives will know how to manage the four distinct generations currently in the workforce. We introduced them in the fi rst post: the Greatest Generation, born before 1945; the Baby Boomers, born from 1946–64; Generation X, born from 1965–81 and the Millennials, born from 1982–95.
